Class Description
Basic Xercizer: The IM=X® Pilates eight basic sequences are taught on the Xercizer while emphasizing the IM=X® fundamentals, appropriate form and flow. Tones and stretches every muscle group. A great workout for all skill levels.
Basic Floor: Our signature and very popular IM=X® Pilates floor workout will strengthen and stretch every muscle group using the IMX Ring and Body Bar. Your trainer will guide you through IM=X® sequences which start with hips and legs, progress to abs and back, move on to shoulders and arms, rest for some stretches and finish with more hips, butt and abs. This is an intense total body workout all done on the mat.
Cycle/Abs Xercizer: Get your cardio and abdominal workout in one class. Crunches are boring, IM=X® abs are not! These ab sequences are designed to fatigue and challege the abs. Isometic, isotonic, concentric, eccentric exercises that target the transversus abs, internal/external obliques, rectus abdominals and pelvic floor result in superior core strength.
Cycle/Cardio Xercizer: IM=X® Pilates Cardio Xercizer classes combine heart rate training (via plyometrics on the jumpboard) with other cardio equipment (bikes). Bring your sneakers and towel and be ready to sweat!
Hybrid: Many of our customers really enjoy our floor programs; while others proclaim the results from the Xercizer. We know that the IM=X® Floor and Xercizer programs challenge the body in different ways so we put them together to give you the best of both.
Intermediate/Advance: IM=X® Intermediate/Advanced class takes the basics to a higher intensity by increasing sets, reps and adding a variety of challenging moves.
